Salon Policies
Deposit Policy
A minimum 50% deposit is required for:

Online bookings
-
Select services, such as: make-up services, full sets of eyelash extensions, pamper packages, multiple service appointments with a total service time longer than 2 hours.

Clients with repeated late cancellations or no-shows may be required to pre-pay future appointments in full. If these prepaid bookings are cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours, 50% of the payment will be forfeited in line with our minimum deposit policy.

Deposits secure your appointment time and are applied in full toward the cost of your service on the day.
Please note: deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and plans can change. However, as appointment times are reserved especially for you, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in the forfeiture of your deposit (50% of the total appointment value).

Clients with repeated late cancellations or no-shows may be required to pre-pay future appointments in full, which will then be subject to the same 50% forfeiture policy if cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, which allows us to continue providing high-quality service and accommodate other clients waiting for appointments.
Make-Up Service Contracts
All bridal and event make-up services are subject to the terms outlined in your individual make-up contract.
These include payment schedules, trial sessions, travel fees (if applicable), and cancellation terms agreed upon at the time of booking.
Refund Policy
Products: Refunds are only accepted for faulty or defective products. Products found to be faulty will be returned to the manufacturer for assessment. Refunds are not available for change of mind.
Services: We do not offer refunds for services already provided. If you have any concerns about a treatment, please contact the salon directly so we can address the issue with care and understanding.

We value your feedback and take all concerns seriously. If you are unhappy with your experience, please speak directly with Charlotte Hanson, Salon Director.

All staff are instructed to pass any complaints or concerns directly to Charlotte, who will handle each situation personally and confidentially on a case-by-case basis.

Privacy & Record Keeping
As part of our commitment to providing safe and personalised treatments, Serenity Beauté is required to collect certain information from clients prior to specific services.

Client information may be stored in both paper and digital formats within your client profile. All records are kept strictly confidential and used only for professional purposes related to your care.

Paper records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with Australian industry standards before being securely destroyed.

We take the privacy and security of your personal information seriously and ensure it is handled responsibly and in compliance with relevant regulations.
​Surcharges & Pricing
To ensure we can continue offering exceptional service and cover associated costs, the following surcharges apply:

EFTPOS fees: As displayed in-store, subject to change based on Smartpay rates (our EFTPOS provider).

Saturday appointments: +10% surcharge.

Public holidays: +15% surcharge.

All surcharges are clearly shown when booking online or in-salon.

All prices listed are subject to change. At Serenity Beauté, we regularly review our pricing to reflect ongoing changes in product costs, supplier rates, and operational expenses. We remain committed to maintaining fair and transparent pricing while continuing to provide exceptional service and high-quality treatments.
When possible, we aim to communicate any price adjustments in advance through in-salon signage or other appropriate channels to keep our clients informed.
Gift Vouchers & Credits
Gift vouchers and account credits are non-refundable but may be used toward any service or product within their valid period. Expiry dates are listed on each voucher in accordance with NSW Fair Trading Gift cards and vouchers policies
Punctuality
To ensure you receive your full treatment time, please arrive on time for your appointment. Our therapists strive to start and finish each treatment as close to schedule as possible to respect all clients’ bookings. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service to avoid delays for the next appointment.
Health & Safety
Your wellbeing is our priority. Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent procedures that may affect your treatment. This ensures we can tailor your experience safely and effectively.
